"After months of struggling to find a photographer in Eugene, Oregon, who could bring my vision to life, I discovered Ka'Deem through LinkedIn and his work at the University of Oregon. I sent him a quick message, and he promptly responded with all the information I needed—examples of his previous work, a link to his website, and an informational form.

From the start, Ka'Deem was intentional about getting to know my fiancé and me, learning  about our vision, and helping us choose the package that fit us best. He patiently answered my many questions as I learned more about the different types of photography. He even used my Pinterest board to ensure our engagement session reflected the exact aesthetic we were going for.

As the shoot approached, Ka'Deem tracked the weather to ensure we’d have an ideal day, and he scouted several location options. When there was a weather scare, he was flexible and reassuring, explaining how lighting and conditions could affect the photos, and what editing could do to enhance a grey day.

On the day of the shoot, Ka'Deem came fully prepared: he had reviewed my inspiration board, selected ideal spots for our poses, and even came up with extra ideas so we'd have a wide variety of photos. He played music throughout the session, which was a great icebreaker and made us feel at ease. He also explained his process—everything from lens changes to drone use—which we appreciated. It really showcased his professionalism and his commitment to making us feel included and comfortable.

After the shoot, Ka'Deem sent a few preview shots while he worked on editing the rest. Within two weeks, we had the full gallery—and he even invited feedback to ensure we were happy with the final product. His openness to input and desire for continual improvement was a refreshing and impressive part of the experience.
